This document provides relevant portions of Subpart A - General Applicability and Definitions of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (49 CFR 390). <br /><br />The purpose of this part is to establish general applicability, definitions, and general requirements for persons subject to the regulations. <br /><br />The rules in Subchapter B of this chapter apply to all employers, employees, and commercial motor vehicles that transport property or passengers in interstate commerce.
