ACOEM and MDGuidelines® are pleased to introduce Internet Point of Care (IPoC) learning. IPoC learning is a certified CME activity in which a physician or other
health care professionals engages in self-directed, online learning on topics relevant to their clinical practice by reading MDGuidelines®.

Desired Results

This Internet PoC activity is intended to give physicians or other health care professionals the opportunity to research a self-identified clinical question at the point-of-care and then to apply that knowledge into either their practice or the systems of care in which they work. As a clinical reference tool, this activity is designed to facilitate quality improvement through self-directed learning.

Steps in the Point-of-Care Process
  1. Identify a topic for research related to your clinical practice.
  2. Research your topic through MDGuidelines®.
  3. Login to this site.  If you are logging in for the first time, you may need to create an account.
  4. Complete the POC credit and evaluation form using "Self-Report" on the top of this page.
  5. Click on the New Request button for each search.
  6. Submit the form, earning 0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 credit for each query.
Find complete instructions here.

Once you complete the steps above, you can print your transcript by following these directions:
